Below is everything you need to know about the application process for our Software Development Apprenticeship Program. We won’t lie: it’s extensive and requires commitment. But it’s because we want to discover talent from unexpected places (you’d be surprised how a non-techy background might help), along with what makes you you — and why a career in tech might be exactly what you need to thrive.
After you’ve filled out the interest card above, these are the
steps to get you to that offer letter.
They say the devil is in the details, so show us your resume and answer questions that shine a light on your tech background. (Again, it’s fine if you have none!)
Answer a variety of behavioral science Qs to give us a peek into how you react, communicate, and lead during stressful situations or in diverse environments.
Don’t freak if you’ve never coded — our step-by-step instrux hold your hand through it.
Take on a few assignments and tests — like building a webpage — to show your range and demonstrate just how passionate you are about getting into the industry.
Talking on the phone is the worst, but it’s a solid way to learn more about the actual human you are. It’s also when we’ll go through the program requirements and answer any questions you have. (Psst: some may be answered on our For Apprentices page or in the FAQ below.)
Virtual Technical Interview
You’re almost there! It’s time to see you in action, demonstrating you know the why (not just the how) behind the work you’ll do as a software developer.
Background Checks + Offers
The final, super official step: background checks and drugs screens. Assuming those clear, you can expect an official offer letter in your inbox. Woohoo!
All Sound Good?
Now it’s time for the application. We can’t wait to learn more about you!
